Caedmon Alexzander, Your name means "Wise Warrior" and "Defender of Man". Granted, there are some days when I wonder at our wisdom in naming you "Warrior and Defender". Some days I wish we would have named you something that means "Peaceful Field" or "Quiet River". :) However, we believe that God has given each of us an opportunity to live for Him and to serve His kingdom on this earth. Saint Caedmon, according to church history, lived to tell others the stories of God. He related Biblical truth in ways that others of his day could understand. Your name means, "Whole-hearted" and "Just". Caleb is a man from the Old Testament who the Lord says "has a different spirit and has followed me fully." When others did not trust in God's ability to deliver them, Caleb chose to follow God fully, trusting him. It is our prayer for you, Son, that you will choose to follow God fully and whole-heartedly even if others around you choose differently. We pray that you will be guided by Truth and will grow in your knowledge of what is good and right and that you will be just in all your ways.
